  • Welcome to our blog!

It seems crazy. Ten years ago Clint and I had just gotten married, and we were so young and carefree. It was just the two of us and life was pretty easy. The house stayed (reasonably) clean, we went out when we wanted, and traveled to some pretty incredible places. We didn't have a whole lot of responsibility, pretty much just to ourselves.

Fast forward to 2014 and we now have three miniature versions of ourselves, two girls and a boy in the middle. Hayley is six and is as spunky and prissy as can be. Colin is almost five and is the nuttiest little thing imaginable, but oh so sweet. And Sydney, our littlest, thinks she's six and is already the comedian in the family. Despite our kiddos being so little, they not only now outnumber us, but they have managed to turn our world upside down. But we wouldn't have it any other way. We love 'em to pieces!

The blog is filled with the weekly happenings within the Stuckey family, some funny, some touching, and some a little zany and crazy. Life is definitely better with kids in it! We love ours to pieces. Images + Words = Memories.

Pedicures with my Girls

Hayley, Sydney, and I are always looking for excuses to get pedicures.  And guess what?!  We found another excuse — the start of summer!!  Sydney was SO funny and was cracking up the technicians.  She kept saying over and over, “Ah, this is the life. I love this mom!  This is the life!”  And check out the first picture of Hayley and Sydney.  Look at Sydney’s little pose with her foot.  What is that all about?!  She’s a little nut.

Aerial Silk Class with Hayley

Hayley and I decided to do something a little crazy and take an aerial silk class together.  As it turns, there’s one just five minutes down the street from us.  So we went quite a few Saturdays ago (yes, I’m six months behind on blogging) and guess who we ran into?!  Coach Steven from gymnastics!!!  I was like “what?!”  He was like “what?!”  But it was totally fun!!  But, let me tell you, climbing those silks is SO much harder than it looks.  You don’t just glide gracefully through the air like a bird. I felt more like a dumbbell begging to survive.  But we learned some pretty cool tricks!  And yes, we’ll do it again!

Mommy & Sydney Gymnastics

One of Sydney’s and my favorite things to do is go to “Mommy & Sydney Gymnastics”!  We look forward to every Friday afternoon because her class is at the exact same time as my class. So, we’re both out on the floor together doing gymnastics!  Honestly, I feel like a kid again every time I go.  I love it!!  And Sydney loves having me there.  It’s our thing!  At the end of class, we always run and jump into the blue pit together!!  It is SO much fun!!  The only sad thing is that since Sydney made the gymnastics team, this was one of our last gymnastics classes “together.”  But, hopefully soon our schedules will align once again!  Oh how I love this girl!!
